||Fiction - Curtain Raiser|| Mary Sue And I.
Coming up real soon to a blog near you.
[Update]: Not much progress I'm afraid. Got the characterisations down as also the plot, but the narrative is a bummer. Writer's block all the way :-(.

I've got the beginning and ending on 5 stories. Need fillers!

Oh, not to convert this into a my-brain-size-is-bigger-than-yours flamefest, but I've got ideas for waaaay more than that :-). Problem is, because I haven't been acting upon them, all of them are coagulating into something very nasty.
You see, my *essential* problem is that I haven't quite mastered the art of writing stuff in multiple sittings; whenever I write, I generally set myself a word-limit, make a quick words-to-hours calculation (250 words/hr), set those many hours aside and produce things. The only way I can get that sort of a discipline is if there's a deadline breathing down my neck, something that self-driven fiction clearly doesn't, or as yesterday night's experience tells us, cant, have.

Perhaps you are editing yourself while you are writing. That is one way to suppress your creativity and productivity. Just put it all down and worry about the editing later.

Yup, that is true, and indeed, that's what I meant about getting the narrative wrong (as also, writer's block); have been too harsh on myself about the way it's been going.
Think I'll have to get back to my usual non-linear mode of writing tonight then. :-D

Oh that's OK! I am not worthy and all that.
But seriously though, have got these on paper and that brings up the count.
Wanted to do stuff while I could over the winter break, but, too late. Start school today.
PS: Nothing should stop you from being an a**h*** on the Internet. It's your birthright!
