Lunar New Year Festivities.

Some colour out there at Chinatown lately; the Year of the Golden Rooster is upon us! We're getting a week's worth of holidays next week, and have options to go to either Bangkok or Melaka, but am thinking I'll spend the time at home in thoughtful relaxation and reflection. Would like to catch up on my (alleged) hobbies, while saving up for a "real" trip to Paris or Cambodia sometime later.

Meanwhile, there's a Bharatnatyam class tomorrow that I will definitely miss, and a drama workshop that I definitely would not like to miss. Stay tuned.

Today's link: A Blog Metlin AND Alam would emphathise with.

Exciting news of the day: Welcome to Hub Hyderabad!

In related news, here's something I totally empathise with. It relates to me chatting with the cydonian. Sheesh.

Oh man. What do I even say? Raw nerve, of sorts.

Alam: Cydonian as a Harvard Educated bot - now that's rich :-p

Metlin: That is particularly ironic considering my (well-known) antipathy towards Harvard-educated grads. :-D

I can't use the "I'm Harvard-educated, you insensitive clod" line (unfortunately), but I do know quite a few sensitive clods who'd probably use it ;) Any particular reason?

coz Harvard-educated folks are insensitive clods!

Seriously, hung out with a couple down in Seoul two years back; have never looked back on them eversince. Completely plastic individuals, bereft of soul, personality, character... nothing; definitely unlike other Ivy Leaguers who, even if they're elitist, are at least *intellectually* elitist.
