I think India has maxed it for now.
There are those who look at, say, China's tally, and become emotional/jealous/depressed. I, however, am not one of them.
Update [22.8.2004 10:51AM SGT]: Shekhar Gupta has an interesting perspective on Medal Drubble, but as usual, looks macro and not micro. And oh, I disagree that we should use the Army as a means of last resort; it is a force that's being paid and nurtured for one reason only, and that's to protect the nation's borders. Let's keep it as that.
